She is survived by: her parents, Karl Mailman and Maude Mailman of Bridgewater, N. S.; her pet Suzie; her brother George Karl "Pidge" Mailman; her nephews, Gary Mailman, Carroll Mailman and Kenneth Mailman; her son-in-law Captain Howard Garland; her husband Donald Carl Zwicker; her daughter Councillor Claudette Garland of Sweetland, N. S.; and her grandchildren, Tyler Garland (Cait), Matthew Garland, Caitlin Zwicker, Mikaela Zwicker, Aimee Conrad, Jamie White and Corey Bollivar. She is also survived by companion and when Suzie passed away a couple of years ago, she was devastated, stating no more pets.
