He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Whynot and Lillas Whynot (Deal); and his brothers, Curtis, Emerson, Leaman, Raymond, Roland and Douglas.
He is survived by: his siblings, Verlene and Hazen; and his sisters-in-law, Pearl and Marilyn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
