He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Laird and Elizabeth Laird (McMorrow); his children, Jacqueline Wile (Lorraine), Brian Laird (Pam) and Paul Laird (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Ian (Michelle), Holly (Chet), Umeko (Chris), Logan and Mason Laird; his great grandchildren, Thea and Sophia; and his sister Jean Scarlett (Mull).
