With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Edmond Theriault (Bridgewater, Nova Scotia), born in Weymouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 1, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph Pius. He is survived by: his parent Marie Antoinette Theriault (Comeau).
Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years on August 9, 1958, Mary Emily (O'Neil) Theriault; his girls, Patricia (Pieter) Lubbe, Mississauga; Beverley (Robert "Bob) Yoon, Massachusetts; Carol (David) Wood, Ottawa; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Donald Theriault. Ed was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed. Visitation will be 2:30-4 p.m., Monday, March 5 with funeral service 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 6 in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater with Father Jim MacDonald, OMI officiating. Family interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Bridgewater with a reception at Ridgewood Assisted Living, 372 Aberdeen Road, Bridgewater.
