He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Hatt and Marie Hatt; his daughter Susan; and his brothers, Floyd, Vernon and Vincent.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Jane (Terry) and Timothy (Betty); and his sisters, Sylvia (Ross) and Rosa. He is also survived by four grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
