It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John D. Swain (Bridgewater, Nova Scotia), born in Liverpool, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 14, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Swain and John Swain of Port Mouton, NS.. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Swain; his sons, Eric (Jolyn) and Christopher (Corinne); his brother Robert Swain (Louise) of Port Mouton; and his grandsons, Samuel and Malcolm Swain of Halifax.

Memorial donations in memory of John can be made to South Shore Regional Hospital or by supporting a local musician or school band programme.
