He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence McDougall Archibald and Mary Kathleen Betts (Mamie); his siblings, Charles (Bud) and Mary; and his nephew Darren.
He is survived by: his wife Clare; his children, Martha (Kenneth Faloon), Alison (Marcus Cain) and John (Shauna); and his sister Sharon (Richard Smith). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, a great grandson, nieces, nephews and many friends.
