It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Louise Sonnichsen of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, born in Sudbury, Ontario, who passed away on May 7, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, James Sonnichsen and Daisy Sonnichsen of Bridgewater; her husband Robert Demerchant; her son Carl Knudsen (Kristina Henry); her brothers, Wendell Sonnichsen, Wade Sonnichsen and David Sonnichsen; her stepchildren, Bobby James, Tracy, Crystal, Erik and Laurie; and her grandchildren, Madison, Miya, Maidyn and Robie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
