He is survived by: his sons, Michael James (Susan) and Shawn Douglas Thomson (Bonnie); his grandchildren, MacQuarrie Goodfellow Thomson and Mitchell Goodfellow Thomson; his sister Joan MacDonald Bridgewater (Fred); and his close friends, Emily Oickle and Laurie Mossman of Bridgewater.
