She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Turpin and Leone Turpin (Lahey); her husband Frank; her siblings, Percy, Joyce, Doris, Kathleen and Noreen; and her son-in-law Blaine "Alfie" Newman.
She is survived by: her children, Francis, Michael, Susanna Miller (Jim) and Wanda (Brian); and her grandchildren, Kimberlee, Tonya, Melissa, Jake and Michael. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia, Harbour View Haven, Lunenburg or a charity of choice.
