He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Lucretia (Zwicker) and George Elijah Hirtle of Lapland; his siblings, Beriah Hirtle, Ruby Fancy, Carl Hirtle, Lester Hirtle, Frank Hirtle, Greta Herman, Bruce Hirtle, Ervin Hirtle, Arthur Hirtle and Georgina Wamback; his former wife Sally Hirtle; and his grandson Bryce.
He is survived by: his wife Adrienne Martin of Middlefield; his children, Terry (Heather), Bonnie Baker (David) and Tracy Pleasantville (Derrick); his grandchildren, Brent Baker Greenfield (Shelby Freeman), Savannah and Kameron Wagner; his great grandchildren, Addyline and Madison Baker; his sister Arlene Hebb (Jimmy); his stepchildren, Calvin Martin (Donna), Timmy Martin (Kathy) and Ruth Stoodley (Junior); and his caregivers, Jane, Emily, Angela, Calvin and Ruth. He is also survived by many step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, donations in George's name may be made to Lone Pine Cemetery, Greenfield United Baptist Church, or to the Lapland and District Fire Department.
