He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Stewart and Evelina Stewart (Crouse); his wife Helen Stewart (Dorey); his stepson David Eisner; and his siblings, Clary, Eldred, Leland, Edward, Gladys (Joe Mandiaggo), Dorothy (Murray Veinot), Lillian (Charles Stewart) and Tessie (Charles Stewart).

He is survived by: his son Ricky Stewart (Renee); and his stepdaughters, Violet Stewart, Hebbs Cross, Dianne Zwicker (Boyd) and Donna Sutton (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, step-grandchildren, and great step-grandchildren.
