She was predeceased by: her parent George E. Burns; and her siblings, George, John, Edward, Robert, Mary, Vivian, Madeline, Lillian, Marjorie and Muriel.

She is survived by: her parent Susan J. Burns (Mahoney); her husband Ralph S. Getson; her children, Susan M., Vancouver, Ralph D., Upper LaHave, Stephen G. and Bridgewater; her granddaughters, Mercedes (Tony MacDonald), Digby, Victoria (Clarke Langill) and Lunenburg; and her siblings, Pauline Crouse of Upper LaHave, Warren, Yarmouth and Billy Cross (Gail).

We were touched by the visits, gifts of food, phone calls, memorial donations, sympathy cards, on-line condolences, texts, and emails.
