It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Oickle of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, born in Milton, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 15, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Oickle and Cora Oickle of Liverpool; his brother Wayne Oickle; and his parents-in-law, Charles Ross, Betty Hersey and Gene Stewart.

He is survived by: his children, Glen Oickle and Lisa Oickle (Kenny Wilson); his grandchildren, Kolby, Makayla, Allie and Cooper; his great grandchild Sophie; his siblings, Gary Oickle (Diane) and Susan Bezanson Rosilyn Ross (Andy); his sister-in-law Jackie Oickle; and his parents-in-law, Kathleen Weir Yvonne (Richard) and Kayline Stewart.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada.
