We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2024, at the age of 84, Ernest William Bolivar (Bridgewater, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Bolivar and Bernice'Bunnie' Bolivar (Mailman); his uncle Gerald; his aunt Shirley Hirtle; his brother Douglas Bolivar; his sister-in-law Mary Bolivar; and his mother-in-law Jean Schmeisser (MacLeod).
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Anne Bolivar (Hebb); his children, Andrea Weagle (Mike), Brian Bolivar and Jane Bolivar Steeves (Dannie); his grandchildren, Jessica Weagle (Alex), Justin Weagle, Patrick, Alison Bolivar and Caroline Steeves; his brothers, Chester, George Bolivar (Mary Lou), Newcombville and Vernon Bolivar (Linda); his sister-in-law Carole Bolivar; and his cousin Paulette Woodworth. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bridgewater United Church or South Shore Hospice Palliative Care Society.
