He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Selig and Irlean Selig (Mailman); his former wife Barbara Smith; his sisters, Pauline Koba and Dianne Blackburn; and his sister-in-law Shirley Duncalfe.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Canning); his sons, Kevin (Margaret), Glenn (Dorothy) and Bradley; his grandchildren, Rachel (Kyle-Lynn), Nykola, Joshua, Emma, Matthew, Austin and Luke; his stepchildren, Carolyn Holdright, Carl Canning (Roxane) and Laurie Canning (Nikki) of Caledonia; his stepgrandchildren, Jared, Devin, Ben Holdright, Dylan, Dana Canning, Liam and Riley Canning; his siblings, Carl (Freda), Robert, Clary (Beverley), Newcombville, Joan Watts, Peggy Smith (Phillip) and Ninevah; his brother-in-law Marty Blackburn; and his aunt Patricia Perrin. He is also survived by four step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Don's memory can be made to the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater, or the Health Foundation of The South Shore.
