He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ann Violet and Jack Watson; his wife Carol (Sullivan); his daughter Erica Kiely (Brian); his stepchildren, Bruce Goldsmith (Dorothy), Heather Hirtle (Robert) and JoAnne Conrad (David); his grandchildren, Patrick Hirtle (Erin), Victoria Messervey (Mike), Timothy Goldsmith, Hunter and Violet Slevin; his great grandchild Thatcher Hirtle; and his children, Jessica and Simon. He was also cherished by children and grandchildren and his pal, "Lady Bug", the cat.
