He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard and Marjorie (Mitchell); his brother Lloyd McCarthy; and his mother-in-law Evelyn Dicks. He is survived by: his wife Ellen (Dicks); his children, Andrea Whalen (Victor) and Jeffrey Crouse; his grandchildren, Madison Whalen and Drew Whalen; his father-in-law Bronson Dicks; and his siblings-in-law, Ralph Dicks (Gail), Joe Dicks (Shirley) and Donna McCarthy (Cudmore) of Summerside, PE.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bruce's memory may be made to South Shore Relay for Life.
