She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Dempsey and Kathleen Dempsey (Monaghan); and her siblings, Michael "Mickey", Joseph "Joe", Frank, Christopher, Mary "Marie" Banks, Bernadette "Berna" Killingworth, Elizabeth "Betty" Shimamoto and Kathleen "Kate" Bracken.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Carey; her children, Michael (Brenda), Annette (David Kaulback), Beth Carey, Grammie, Cale and Jessica Potter; and her siblings, Gerry (Bernie), Johnny (Maureen) and Doreen Lynch. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
