With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Basil Durling of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, born in Springfield, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 29, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Durling and Dorothy Durling (Saulsman). He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Michael (Marie), Ricky, Sharon (Pierre), James (Bice) and Jeffrey (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Greg, Emily, Sally, Danielle and Serena; his great grandchildren, Nicklos, Kate, Matthew, Jacob, Haley, Paden and Mason; and his brothers, Doug (Agnes) and Emery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
