We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2022, at the age of 87, Verda Augusta DeCoste of Bridgetown, Nova Scotia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Verda Augusta DeCoste to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph William "Bill" DeCoste; her sister Yvonne MacGregor; and her grandson Curtis Rideout. She is survived by: her siblings, Catherine Murphy, Cyrena MacLean, Joseph Pettipas and Roy Pettipas; and her children, Tarilyn Grimmer (Doug), Karl DeCoste (Chris), Arlene Mann (Paul), Leonard DeCoste (Verna), Norine Rideout (Barry) and Jacquelyn Finck (Albert). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Monica's Roman Catholic Church or to a charity of choice.
