Miriam Pauline Whitman Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2020, Miriam Pauline Whitman of Bridgetown, Nova Scotia, born in Lawrencetown, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Durling and Blanche Durling (Bishop); her husband Malcolm; her children, Sybil (Henri) and Shane (Peggy); and her siblings, Kathleen Coady and Lester Durling.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sheena Charlton (David) and Steffany Maillet (Mike); her grandchildren, Nathaniel (Iuli), Toby (Anette), Gillian (Corey), Nicki, Jared, Elyse, Ashley (Jason), Stephen, Marlee, Sophie and Simon; her great grandchildren, Samuel, Nicholas, Henry, Pascale, Lucas, Jack, Mila and Ian; and her siblings-in-law, Lloyd Coady, John Blackwell and Louise Durling. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial service and burial will take place at a future date, to be announced on the funeral home website.
