She was predeceased by: her husband Russell; and her son Brian. She is survived by: her son Blake (Karen); her granddaughter Denean (Dan); her great grandchildren, Marshall and Damian; and her sisters, Peggy Meisner, Verna Bishop and Donna Wefer (Bud).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia or charity of choice.
