It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marland Boyd Smith (Bridgetown, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 31, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Alvin and Claundine Smith (Hodgson) of County Harbour; his former wife Shirley (Charlton); his son Donald Bruce Smith; and his siblings, Wilma Gibson, Myrna MacPherson, Arden and Bruce Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Doris; and his stepdaughter Rhonda Fox. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
