She was predeceased by: her parents, William O'Neil and Dora Schoenals (Burnie Hutchinson); and her grandchildren, Leah and Alex. She is survived by: her husband Burnie; her children, Ian (Sonya), Alan (Linda), Susan (Paul) and Bruce; and her grandchildren, Jessica, Geoffrey, David, Hannah, Jennifer, Laura, Panos, Nitsa, Luc, Gillian, Nicole and Jacob.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Bridgetown Volunteer Fire Dept. or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
