He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Whitman and Olive Whitman (Corkum); his wife Bertha; his daughters, Jean Stoddart and Joan Connell; his brothers, Lester and David; his son-in-law Gordon Silver; and his siblings-in-law, Eric O'Neil and Laura Corkum.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Silver, Round Hill, Phyllis McLean (Kevin), Lequille, Dale Whitman, Aubrey Whitman and Lawrence Jr. (Sue Huelin); his brother Carroll Corkum; and his grandchildren, James, Jimmy (Laura), Johnny (Brenda), Carol, Cynthia, Natasha, Tia (Alexi), Greggory, Kody (Melanie) and Kolin (Katie). He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Donations in Dad's memory may be made to the Inglisville United Baptist Church or the Inglisville Community Hall.
