He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Grant and Effie Grant (Rhynard); his son-in-law Nick; and his siblings, Mary, Ruth, Doris, Idella, Gladys, Myrna, Eddie, Joe, George and Freeman.

He is survived by: his wife June (Foster); his children, Diane of Halifax, Charles (Mary) of Bridgetown, Wendy of Bridgetown, Donna (Rodney) of Bridgetown and Sarah Dumphy of Bridgetown; his grandchildren, Aaron, Charlie and Sabrina Gillis; and his sister Joyce Wiles of Calgary. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions a celebration of Kenny's life will be held at a later date.

Donations made in memory of Kenny may be sent to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia or Annapolis Valley Exhibition.
