He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Ruggles and Olive Ruggles (Barteaux); and his brother Laurie Ruggles. He is survived by: his wife Marj Ruggles; his siblings, Charles Ruggles, Alice and Donna Ruggles (Jimmy Milner) of West Dalhousie; his children, Heather D'Ambrose (Mike) of West Dalhousie and Kevin Ruggles (Melanie) of West Dalhousie; and his grandchildren, Austin (Lexy Cranton) and Sierra Ring (Jamie) of Truro, NS..
