It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Joseph Demerah (Bridgetown, Nova Scotia), born in Ottawa, Ontario, who passed away on October 22, 2018, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent James "Jim"; and his siblings, Joyce Lavigne and David. He is survived by: his parent Lillian Demerah (McCrank); his wife Cora Bezanson; his brothers, Peter (Ottawa), Dan (Ottawa) and Chris (Christine); and his brother-in-law Ron Lavigne of Renfrew, Ontario. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
