She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Bent; her husband Ralph D. Messinger; her son Arthur L. Messinger; and her children-in-law, Margaret Messinger (Meg) and Les Coyle.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph B. Messinger, Sandra Fisher (Robert), Burlington, Ont, Linda Coyle and Margaret Anne Carmichael. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
