He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gus Pearo and Sue (Bungay); his former wife Mary Pearo; his siblings, Ena MacFarlane, Dorothy Arsenault and Danny Magee; his brothers-in-law, Bobby MacFarlane and Billy Arsenault; his children, MJ Pearo (Shauna), Alissa Schaller (Steve) and Heather Cloutier (Jeff); his grandchildren, Sophia, Aiden, Sydney, Olivia, Connor, Dylan and Robyn; and his siblings, Barbara Chinn (Roger), Brian Pearo (Marita), William Pearo (Cindy) and Hubert MacRae (June). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bras D'Or Hall (24 Villa Dr, Little Bras D'or, NS B1Y2X1).
In Lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be made to the Cape Breton Hospital Foundation or to a charity of one's choice.
