He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Jessome and Ester Jessome; his brothers, Robs and Elias; his siblings-in-law, Jackie and Beverly; and his grandson John Edward.
He is survived by: his wife Lenora; his children, Ona (Frank), Norie (Donnie), Adean (Brad), Rachael (Alex), Emmie (Sandra) and Elias; his siblings, Wilfred (Georgina), Danny (Chris), Ester (Duke), Janice, Denise (Wayne) and Ella (Auley); his grandchildren, Kayla (Ash), Gary (Katie), Jillian, Dylan, Erika and Mila; his great grandchildren, Parker and Ivy; and his close friends, Dennis Jessome and Charlie Reardon.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Emerson's memory may be made to An Cala Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, or St. Joseph Church Fund.
