He is survived by: his wife Carol Fryday (Kent); his children, Patrick (Tara), Lori (Paul) and Anna (Peter); and his grandchildren, Jonah, Lois, Lila and Cecelia. He is also survived by sisters, brothers, in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Black Point & Area Community Centre (8579 St Margarets Bay Rd, Black Point, NS B0J1B0).
