It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Marilyn (MacLean) Dow of Big Bras d'Or, Nova Scotia, born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 24, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clem Dow; her parents, George MacLean and Alice MacLean (Derbyshire); and her siblings, Kenny, Norma Boutilier and Jean Boutilier.
She is survived by: her daughters, Colleen Clarke (Paul) of Delta, B. C., Karen Dow (Joe LeBlanc) of Dartmouth and Barbara Tilley (Paul) of Bedford; her grandchildren, Anthony (Kaitlyn), Kelly, Mitch Clarke and Garrett Tilley (Tori) of Halifax; her great grandchildren, Bowen Clarke and Luca Tilley of Halifax; her siblings, Wilson MacLean (Norma) of Ontario, Harriet Brushett of Sydney and Richard MacLean of Glace Bay; and her sisters-in-law, Norma of Glace Bay and Diane of Glace Bay.
