He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Thomas and Olive Thomas (Gilley); and his brother Melvin Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Alva (Halfyard); his daughters, Lori Denman (Chris) and Kim Thomas (Malcolm); his grandchildren, Hannah and Zachary Denman; his brothers, Wayne Thomas (Val) and Rod Thomas; his sisters-in-law, Pauline Thomas and Jean Pope (Harold); and his nieces and nephews, Karen Earle, Alberta, Michael Thomas, Samantha Roberts and Trevor Pope.
