She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Higgins and Annie Higgins (Watson); her husband Theodore MacLeod; and her siblings, Charles, Robert, Harold, Rebecca, Wilena, Dorothy, Lyla and Jaye.

She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer; her grandchildren, George Rennison (Andrea), Rebecca Rennison, Valley and Jane Broomfield (Moses); and her brothers, Borden Higgins of Ormond Beach, FL and Curtis Higgins (Geraldine).
