He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Edward and Catherine Virginia Benjamin (Cooper); and his siblings, David, Linda, Robert and Steven.

He is survived by: his children, William E. Benjamin and Charlotte Pynch; his grandchildren, Dakota, Diego, Tynisha, Colton, Kayleigh and Keegan; and his siblings, Albert, Judith, Garnet, Michael, Darlene, Harold, Douglas, Peter and Paul. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
