He was predeceased by: his father Gordon Hamilton; and his brothers, Terry and Randolph. He is survived by: his mother Verna Hamilton (Stromecki); his wife Tanya; his son Nathan Halifax (Ani); his grandchildren, Kirsten (Chris), Kendra (Chad), Emily, Madison, Blair and Mikalya; his great grandchildren, Jax, Cole, Luca and Caden; his brother Calvin (Gayle); and his sister-in-law Brenda.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Kaulbach Funeral Home (190 St Anthony St, Annapolis Royal, NS B0S 1A0).
