He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wells and Mary "Doris" Wells (Earl); and his siblings, Ruby Fife, Uttley, Sandy and James.
He is survived by: his wife Julia (Naugler); his children, Janice MacLean (Chester Basin), Murray Wells (Josephine) and Norman Wells (Lorraine); his siblings, Delores Cutler of Gillams, NL, Lily Tipple (Clayton) of Corner Brook, NL, Rita Rhodey (George) of Calgary, AB, Thomas Wells of Cormack, NL and Donald Wells of Cormack, NL; and his grandchildren, Brandon Wells, Laura Ippolito, Krissy Sole and Jennifer MacLean. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
