He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Braden and Velma Braden (Jackett). He is survived by: his spouse Rodina Moore of Sydney Mines; his children, Lesley Laybolt (Brent), Michael, Alexander (Chelsea) and Ottawa; his grandchildren, Noah, Jacob Laybolt, Mackenzie, Kaitlin Braden and Henry Braden; his brother Leslie Braden (Roswitha); and his nephews, Jason of Winnipeg and Clayton of Winnipeg.
In an effort to help researchers better understand his rare form of dementia, Vic chose to make a tissue donation to the Maritime Brain Tissue Bank.
