It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valera Evangeline Hoeksema of Berwick, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 24, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Tupper and Ida Tupper. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Boddy (Brian) of Kingston and Ron Harris (Cathy) of Lower Sackville; her daughter-in-law Carla Harris of Greenwood Square; her siblings, Edwin Tupper and Murial Keddy; her former husband Frank Harris; her husband Gerard Hoeksema; her son Jon K. Harris; her grandson Ronald E. W. Harris; and her brothers, Nolan, Willis and Terrance Tupper. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
