She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick C. Nichols and Grace E. Nichols (Cavanaugh); her former husband George N. Rainforth; her great grandchild Annabel; and her siblings, Florence Hope, Genevieve Felice, Vivian Agnew, Seldon and Lawson Nichols.
She is survived by: her husband Paul L. Ward; her children, Donna Weihers (Marvin) and Tim Rainforth (Mary Ann); her grandchildren, Richard (Ali), Sara (Craig), Josh (Adele) and Lindsay (Chris); her great grandchildren, Hanna, Rose, Gracelyn, Ella, Lane, Bridgette, Hazel and Freya; and her stepchildren, Wendy Ward (Gordon), Greg Ward (Midori), Sandy Wheeler and Denise Ward (Corky Hirtle). She is also survived by several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Berwick Baptist Church (265 Commercial St, Berwick, NS B0P1E0).
