He is survived by: his wife Janey (Cashin); his children, Nicole Carter (Steve Wile), Lori Talbot (Neil), Richard Lyons (Jennifer), Ian Batchelor (Sandra) and Stephanie Corkum (Alex); his siblings, Mary Jane Melanson (John), Janet Wells (Clyde) and Kevin Carter (Rosane); his sisters-in-law, Janet and Connie Carter; and his former spouse Nova Scotian.

In lieu of flowers, memories may be shared and donations in Rob's memory may be made to the Berwick Food Bank or the Berwick and District Volunteer Fire Department.
