He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick William Payzant Irvine and Elsie Tupper Irvine (Murphy); his son Gregory Lewis Irvine; his aunt Frena Marie Irvine; his siblings, Doris Helen Irvine, Jean Marie Irvine, Ronald Dean and Bernard Kenneth Irvine; and his brother-in-law Lewis Chute.

He is survived by: his wife Lillian Joyce Irvine (Chute); his children, Brian Chute Irvine and Brenda Dale Irvine Simpson; his grandchildren, Andrew (Elise), David (Jen) and Caroline Simpson; his great grandchildren, Ansel, Lillian, Alfred, Aurora and Etta; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Marie Irvine (Chute) and Inez Chute (Nauss); his nieces and nephews, Randy Irvine, Gordon Chute, Sheila Veinotte (Irvine), Wanda McGillivrary (Irvine) and Kathryn Morse (Chute); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jason, Bradley, Joseph, Mitchell, Lee, Jeffrey, Nathan, Kassey, Erin, Jennifer and Joselyn.

Memorial donations may be made in Lew's memory to the Hantsport Volunteer Fire Department, the Hantsport Food Bank, or the Hantsport Baptist Church.
