She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Jess and Lorna Jess (Hiltz); her sisters, Susan Steadman and Dale Jess; and her nephew Richard Watton.

She is survived by: her husband Charles; her daughter Crystal Dawn Haggerty (Steven Eisnor); her sister Reta Watton (Stanley); her grandson Byron Burton (Alisha Kelly); her great grandchildren, Linden and Lillee-Mae; her brother-in-law Don Welton; her nephew Joseph Jess; her nieces, Emily and Abby Welton; her daughters, Fawn and Sheila; and her great-nephew Steven Haggerty.
