He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Sherrard (Wood) and Clara Sherrard (Taylor); his significant other Elsie Parrish (Mailman); his daughter Rosalyn; and his siblings, Janice Sherrard and John Sherrard.

He is survived by: his children, Robin Sherrard of Spruce Grove, AB, Joe Parrish (Michelle), Woodville, Pam McDow (Jason), Lakeville and Tammie Smith (Corey); his siblings, Beryl Sherrard-Naugler (Wayne Naugler), Rick Sherrard (Kathy), Jamie Nicholson (Dawn), Kingston, Mark Sherrard (Sudarat), Franklin Sherrard (Phoebe) and Kitchner; his grandchildren, Jamie, Owen, Cassandra Milsom (James), Kyle Parrish, Alicia Parrish (Kaelen), Michaela McDow, Brooklyn McDow, Tristan-Danielle "Tris" Carty (William Young) and Richard England; and his great grandchildren, Daxson, Phoenix, Scarlett and Briar. He is also survived by many nieces and, nephews.
