She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Ryan and Mary Ann Ryan (Hatter); her husband George; her siblings, Maria Nickerson, Marion Wilkie, Florence Taylor and Wilfred; and her niece Joan Stubbs.

She is survived by: her daughter Lorraine "Lou" Balsor (Jack); her daughter-in-law Peggy Tomes; her brother-in-law Ronald Tomes; her grandchildren, Susan Balsor-Boudreau (Tony), Linda Balsor (Lilli), David and William Tomes; her great grandchild Shawn Boudreau; her nephews, John Wilkie (Janet) and Paul Nickerson (Karen); her niece Audrey Taylor; and her friend Brian Donovan.
