We bid farewell to George Nelson Turner of Berwick, Nova Scotia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 13, 2024. George Nelson touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Turner and Lillie Turner (Sanford); his wife Eva May Turner (Schnare); his son-in-law David Galley; his granddaughter-in-law Denise; and his sister Violet Hines.

He is survived by: his children, Gladys Galley and Robert (Theresa); his siblings, Jennie Mahar (late Allison), Allison (Faye) and Clark (late Edna); his grandchildren, Karen Barkhouse (Alan) and Alan Galley (Tara); his stepgrandchildren, Luke Myles, Kyle MacKenzie and Deon MacKenzie; his great grandchildren, Emily, Owen and Chance (Zayna); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Wilfred, Wyllo and Olivia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory may be made to the Jolly Workers Hall, the Black Rock Baptist Church or the Black Rock Cemetery.
