It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda Jane (McKay) Small (Berwick, Nova Scotia), born in Aylesford, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 31, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy H. Jackson and Elva M. Jackson (Wagner); her sons, William Small (Leslie) of Cottage Cove and Thomas Small (Janet) of Aylesford; her granddaughter Danielle Small; her brother Perry Jackson (Diane) of Scotts Bay; her nieces and nephews, Lesley, Steven, Kathy, Susan, Martha, Betty, Mary and Phillip; her stepchildren, William McKay (Jane) and Sandra Ewert (John) of Burlington, Ontario; and her former husbands, Arnold A. Small and Gerald E. McKay. She was also cherished by step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren and step great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law.
