She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Howard and Jessie Etta Lloyd (Mahaney); her husband George F. Beattie; her son Randall Beattie; and her siblings, Claude Lloyd and Lina Middleton.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Beattie (Sharyl), Tanya Rafuse (Kevin) and Kingston; her grandchildren, Sonia, Jennifer, Jeff, Brandon, Carson, Amanda, Jason, Mark and Michael; and her cousin Etta Brown. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Windermere Community Hall, the Canadian Cancer Society, or to a charity of one's choice.
